Ordering Your Selah Guitar

The Process...

Ready to start the ordering process with Selah Guitar Company? Here's how it works:

You review the Price List information to decide what custom details you want on your guitar, then fill out and submit the order form below.
Upon receiving your e-mail order, Luthier Pete Hamelink will contact you to discuss the details of your order, make any final guitar detail decisions and determine the final price of your custom guitar.
Selah Custom Guitars will then send you an invoice for your purchase.
You will then be required to send Selah Custom Guitars a deposit (25% of overall cost of the guitar) to hold your spot in the production schedule and your guitar price. [Notice: Current waiting time is 4 to 6 months, longer on highly customized instruments.]
Construction of your guitar will then begin. Selah Custom Guitars will remain in contact with you during the process.
Once your guitar is finished, Selah Custom Guitars will notify you and request payment of the balance owed.
Once your invoice is paid in full, your guitar will be shipped.

Selah Custom Guitars currently produce two models of guitars: Crescendo (dreadnaught) and Interlude (cut-away). Both have a 25.4" scale length.

Standard Elements:

Sound board- Sitka Spruce
Neck- Mahogany (1 piece w/carved diamond)
Binding- Hardwood Maple or Rosewood
Purfeling- Herringbone
Head Stock veneer- Spalted Maple, Rosewood, or Black Walnut with dove inlay (Abalone or Mother-of-Pearl dove)
Finger Board- Ebony or Rosewood with binding* (Ebony, Maple or Rosewood)
Position Markers- Mother-of-Pearl (round dots)
Bridge- *Ebony, Rosewood or Black Walnut
Bridge Pins- *Ebony, Rosewood, Bone or Ivroid. Available with Mother-of-Pearl or Abalone inlay.
